SAP Logistics Consultant (SD + MM – Primary)
About The Role
The client is undertaking a major SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA migration programme. As part of this initiative, core ECC6 support team members have been redeployed to the migration project. This role is required to backfill SAP Logistics (SD/MM) support while also contributing to migration-related activities over the programme lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for SAP ECC6 Logistics modules with primary focus on Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM)
- Act as a key support contact for business users, handling incidents, service requests, and enhancements
- Support business-as-usual operations during the ECC6 to S/4HANA migration phase
- Assist with migration activities including data validation, functional testing, defect resolution, and cutover support
- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyse requirements and provide effective functional solutions
- Support integration points with FI, CO, WM, and other dependent modules
- Create and maintain functional documentation, test scripts, and user guides
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and post-go-live hypercare
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD and MM modules
- Solid background supporting SAP ECC6 in a production environment
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration projects (brownfield or hybrid preferred)
- Good understanding of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes
- Experience working in a support and migration parallel environment
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid delivery model
