This role can be based out of either Billund, Denmark or London, UK.
We do not support relocation for this role!
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee trade preference determination and FTA qualification with SAP GTS and perform analytics to support compliance and cost optimization
- Analyse and assess impact of new trade agreements on business operations
- Oversee and track duty cost and savings on a global scale
- Adhoc support to other areas within the Indirect & Transaction Tax area

The role is part of the LEGO Group’s Global Tax team, which is overall accountable for taxes across The LEGO Group - including customs, indirect taxes & environmental taxes.
Beside the Global Tax Team, the LEGO Group has a central Tax Process Design team (BPI) and three Tax Operation & Compliance teams which sit within the broader Business Service Operations (BSO) organization.
This role is within the Indirect & Transaction Tax team, reporting to the Senior Tax Director, who is based in Enfield, CT.
Do you have, what it takes?
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – preferably in accounting, finance, or tax
- 2+ years of work experience in a professional setting
- 2+ years of experience working in SAP
You are a great communicator who is able to build networks with key partners across the LEGO Group’s organization as a whole.
You are independent and can operate with a high degree of autonomy, but also thrive in an international team environment full of passionate and dynamic professionals. You are energized by working with data and problem solving.
