Job Title: Trade Compliance Analyst

Compensation Range: $48/hr - $71/hr
Job Description:
Support global trade compliance operations through documentation review, data analysis, reporting, and systems/process improvement.
This need supports the client's global trade compliance operations by adding hands-on help for daily import/export work, reporting, and systems-related tasks. Looking for a detail-oriented trade compliance professional with solid U.S. regulatory knowledge, strong data skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving remote environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Support daily import and export compliance operations across global regions
Review shipping, import, and export documentation for regulatory and policy compliance
Assist with Oracle ERP / Global Trade Management system support and implementation activities
Collect, analyze, and transform trade data into reports, metrics, and KPI dashboards
Respond to freight forwarder and customs broker inquiries regarding documentation and clearance requirements
Partner with internal stakeholders across teams to support trade compliance activities
Monitor regulatory updates and assist with compliance research and issue analysis
Maintain and update process documentation, workflows, and internal controls
Identify opportunities to improve and automate compliance processes, including use of AI-enabled tools
Provide project and operational support to the broader trade compliance team
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
4-5 years of experience in trade compliance, imports/exports, international business, or supply chain
Working knowledge of U.S. import and export compliance requirements
Experience with HTS and ECCN classification
Familiarity with U.S. export regulations including EAR, OFAC, and CBP
Strong analytical skills with experience developing metrics and reports from trade data
Proficiency with Google Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across regions and time zones
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with Oracle ERP or Global Trade Management systems
Experience working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
Background in process improvement, systems support, or reporting initiatives
Project management experience
Interest in using AI tools to improve workflows and efficiency
