Our client, an international Broker Dealer, is seeking a Trading Operations Associate for their midtown NYC office. This dynamic role provides life-cycle support for domestic and international trades and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the firm’s success.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely allocation and booking of client accounts through CTM / FIX Allocation or manual processes for both domestic and international trades
Deliver timely and accurate client trade confirmations
Manage the life cycle of trades from booking and matching to settlement, utilizing clearing network
Maintain client data for global markets, including settlement instructions and commission rates
Perform daily reconciliation of all recorded trades
Ensure regulatory compliance by accurately recording fixed income trades (TRACE)
Open new client accounts, including sub-accounts and managed funds
Assist in onboarding new client accounts
Create JIRA tickets for issue tracking and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing through final delivery
Perform related client activity including penalty claims, buy-in charges, corporate actions adjustments, and pending USD cash payments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related major
2-3+ years of related Trade Support, Operations or Middle Office experience
Knowledge of global markets settlement
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Series 7or SIE and Series 99 licenses required
Outstanding attention to detail and proven ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently
Salary $70-90k + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits
