The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Road Freight professional to step into a supervisory position within a busy and well-established operation.
This is a hands-on role covering full export operations across FTL, LTL and groupage movements, with additional responsibility for overseeing a small team and supporting the wider department.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing European road freight exports (FTL, LTL & groupage)
• Handling shipments from initial quote through to final invoicing
• Planning and routing trailers across Europe
• Supervising a small team, including escalation handling and support
• Coordinating and checking all shipping documentation
• Gathering and managing customs instructions for export movements
• Working across a mix of ADR and non-ADR freight
• Liaising with hauliers, overseas agents, customers and internal teams
What They’re Looking For
• Strong experience in European road freight exports
• Confident planning routes and managing trailer movements
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Solid understanding of customs processes and documentation
• Experience handling ADR freight is advantageous
• Commercially aware with strong communication skills
