LHH is partnering with a company to identify a Trade Compliance Analyst to support its Global Trade Compliance and Logistics function on a contract basis. This fully remote opportunity is open to candidates located in Texas, United States and offers the chance to contribute to international operations spanning the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions.
In this role, you will support compliance with U.S. sanctions and export control regulations, as well as applicable international trade regulations. You will work across multiple trade compliance functions, including denied party screening, export and import classifications, contract review, and procedural documentation. The ideal candidate brings strong regulatory knowledge along with hands‑on experience supporting global logistics and supply chain operations.
This is a yearlong contract with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general support for trade compliance and risk‑mitigation activities related to global business operations
- Assist with reviewing and monitoring third‑party, product, and transaction‑related compliance factors
- Identify potential compliance issues and escalate findings as appropriate
- Maintain clear and organized records to support compliance efforts
- Support classification‑related activities and documentation for international shipments
- Review available product or transaction information to support compliance determinations
- Assist with basic end‑use and end‑user validation processes
- Ensure records and supporting materials are maintained in accordance with internal guidelines
- Support the review of contracts, purchase orders, and agreements for general trade compliance considerations
- Flag contract language that may present regulatory or business risk
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of compliance‑related documentation, procedures, and work instructions
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support operational compliance processes
- Assist with audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives
Engagement Expectations
- Act as a contract resource providing compliance support and subject‑matter guidance
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support business and compliance needs
- Deliver timely, well‑documented work aligned with internal and regulatory expectations
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in trade compliance, global operations, or a related regulatory or logistics environment
- General experience supporting trade compliance or risk‑management activities
- Familiarity with compliance tools or systems used in trade, logistics, or regulatory environments
- Working understanding of global trade or import/export concepts
- Experience reviewing documentation or agreements for compliance considerations
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and written communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to international or multi‑region business operations
- Experience supporting process documentation or standard operating procedures
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP or CRM platforms
