🌍 Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst – UK & Ireland

A leading Global Healthcare Company are currently seeking a Customs & Trade Regulations Analyst to support UK and Ireland operations. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of international trade compliance across post-Brexit import/export activities.
You'll be part of a collaborative regional team, helping to implement and enhance a global trade compliance program with highly flexible remote working arrangements.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced support to international trade and customs operations in the UK & Ireland.
- Ensure compliance with UK and Irish import/export laws and other government agency regulations.
- Act as the point of contact for local teams and customs brokers, supporting issue resolution and process improvements.
- Drive standardization and documentation of post-Brexit processes.
- Identify and mitigate customs duty exposures and implement new customs obligations.
- Sustain AEO Certification in the UK.
- Manage responses to government inquiries, inspections, and audits.
- Report directly to the EMEA Sr. Customs & Trade Regulations Manager.
👤 Your Profile:
- Strong working knowledge of Customs & Trade Compliance Regulations (tariff classification, origin, valuation).
- Preferred experience with UK and Irish customs processes and platforms (e.g., EIDR, SDP, CHIEF, TSS, ROS).
- Experience working with customs brokers and managing a control tower setup.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and accountable.
- A strong team player with an "explorer mindset" – adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) is a plus.
- Professional proficiency in English required; additional languages are a bonus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to manage workload independently and meet tight deadlines.
