We are seeking a dedicated Buyer Planner to enhance our procurement processes and optimise our supply chain management. You will play a key role in reviewing and processing Purchase Requisitions and SAP Purchase Orders while implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures. You will serve as the key point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve Purchase Order issues, ensuring the accuracy of Purchase Orders, databases, and records.
Responsibilities
- Review and process Purchase Requisitions and SAP Purchase Orders.
- Implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Serve as the key point of contact to troubleshoot and resolve Purchase Order issues.
- Maintain accuracy of Purchase Orders, databases, and records.
- Process orders for the warehouses and follow up on related issues to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with the logistics team and internal teams on import/export customs issues.
- Track and expedite incoming shipments, resolving receiving issues promptly.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to request Serial number details and arrange for shipment to suppliers.
- Communicate effectively within the team and cross-functionally, as well as with key internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Achieve target fill rate, minimise backlog and expedite backlog recovery.
- Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock, and cautionary parts.
- Oversee inventory management for multiple warehouses.
- Execute stock balancing among warehouses.
- Maintain systems data integrity and optimise planning processes.
- Recommend obsolete and excess inventory for disposition.
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) in the region.
- Determine pack plans and production orders.
- Collaborate with Global Materials and Engineering for material changes.
- Coordinate issue resolutions and application enhancement requests between business and warehouse teams.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management and logistics.
- Experience in procurement and SAP.
- Strong skills in buying and planning.
- Competence in testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A relevant degree in a related field.
