Job Objective:
To ensure the development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans, Crisis and Emergency Management Plans, and to update procedures in accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) under the Supreme Council for National Security.
Organizational Relationships:
Direct Supervisor: Head of Business Continuity Section
Reporting to: None
Internal Relations: Daily communication with the section head, management, and teams for guidance, updates, and implementation of programs and training
External Relations: Consulting firms for enhancing business continuity programs in line with global best practices
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Participate in the development of Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans, and assign responsibilities to relevant sectors and teams.
• Periodically update business continuity plans, including reviewing critical activities and preparing schedules for annual program maintenance.
• Design integrated plans aligned with emergency response frameworks.
• Ensure readiness and implement effective steps to mitigate adverse impacts during incidents.
• Identify and define potential risks and threats that may affect various operations and assess the organization’s resilience.
• Organize awareness workshops and training programs on business continuity in coordination with the Training and Performance Department.
• Assess the organization’s ability to adapt and respond to disruptions, including response speed and appropriateness.
• Ensure internal procedures align with internationally recognized standards and policies.
• Oversee the periodic evaluation of the contingency plan and ensure compliance with business continuity program standards.
• Ensure compliance with building safety and security standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environment, Health & Safety (or equivalent).
