Operations Specialist — Freight Forwarding

Role
We’re hiring one Operations Specialist to run shipments EXW to DDP worldwide interfacing daily with clients, Iscotrans Italy HQ, suppliers, carriers, and overseas agents. You’ll own coordination, documentation, and execution with a focus on reliability, speed, and cost control.
What you’ll do
- Manage door-to-door operations (road/sea/air) from EXW through DDP.
- Plan, book, and track FCL/LCL/airfreight with carriers and agents.
- Coordinate collections, deliveries, packing, and special handling for project cargo / OOG.
- Prepare/check shipping documents (MBL/HBL, AWB, CI/PL, COO, insurance) and support customs clearance.
- Communicate clearly with customers on milestones, exceptions, and solutions.
- Align with overseas partners on routings, cut-offs, and SOPs; ensure Incoterms 2020 compliance.
- Monitor costs/margins, issue instructions to vendors, and close files accurately and on time.

What you bring
- Proven experience in freight forwarding operations (project cargo and general freight).
- Fluent English (spoken/written). Other languages are a plus.
- Hands-on knowledge of Incoterms 2020, EXW–DDP flows, and carrier/airline portals/TMS.
- Solid coordination, problem-solving, and follow-through.
- Nice to have: familiarity with UAE/GCC customs and port/airport procedures.
