Role Description:
The Supply Chain – Logistics – Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, materials, and information across the entire supply chain. This role plays a vital part in coordinating logistics operations, optimizing workflows, and maintaining clear communication between suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams. The Coordinator ensures that shipments are executed accurately, cost-effectively, and in alignment with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing daily logistics activities such as order processing, shipment scheduling, and inventory tracking. The Supply Chain – Logistics – Coordinator will oversee transport documentation, monitor deliveries, and resolve any logistics or customs-related issues that may arise. The role also involves maintaining relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiating rates where applicable, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and internal policies. The Coordinator will regularly analyze logistics performance, identify process improvements, and assist in implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should have excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a solid understanding of logistics processes and supply chain management principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs documentation, and international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP or logistics management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.
