We are looking for a proactive Road Logistics Transport Planner to join our team in Swords, reporting to the Dublin Road Logistics Manager. You will play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality transport planning and operational excellence while ensuring outstanding customer service and full compliance with company standards.
How you create impact
- Plan and coordinate road transport across Ireland and Europe, ensuring efficient trailer utilisation and on-time delivery.
- Manage daily transport operations, including scheduling, carrier coordination, customs documentation, invoicing, and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with customers, hauliers, subcontractors, and overseas partners.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, QSHE standards, Health & Safety policies, and GDP Pharma guidelines where applicable.
- Monitor KPIs and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain accurate system data, including tariffs and operational information.
What we would like you to bring
- 2+ years’ experience in transport planning or road logistics.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of transport regulations and operational procedures.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland and ability to commute to Swords.
