French Speaking Customs Specialist

Manpower Group Ireland is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing client within the customs clearance and logistics sector for a French Speaking Customs Specialist to join their expanding Dublin-based operations. Our client provides a full range of customs clearance, trade compliance and logistics support services to businesses trading across Ireland, the UK and France. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, they are now seeking an experienced customs professional with fluent French and English to support international operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and submit French import and export customs declarations
- Support clients with customs procedures, documentation and regulatory queries
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight partners and internal teams
- Resolve shipment and customs clearance issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate customs records and documentation
- Support wider customs operations across Ireland and the UK when required
- Assist with continuous improvement of customs processes and internal systems
What We're Looking For
- Fluent French and English is essential
- Previous experience in customs clearance, import/export or trade compliance
- Strong understanding of French customs procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of Irish or UK customs processes is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
