Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and organised Fleet Operations Co-ordinator to join a dynamic remarketing team. This role plays a key part in managing day-to-day operations within the vehicle compound, ensuring smooth administration, stock control, transport scheduling, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and communication support to the remarketing function.
- Coordinate compound operations, including vehicle movements, inspections, and documentation.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure efficient logistics and service delivery.
- Oversee the vehicle sales process and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct return inspections and weekly stock checks across all sites.
- Handle internal and external customer queries in a professional, timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with ad-hoc operational duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Full, clean driving licence held for at least two years.
- Solid understanding of passenger and commercial vehicle types.
- Experience in vehicle logistics, transport, or stock management.
- Strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general IT systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working outdoors and managing varied tasks.
- A proactive team player with energy, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to achieving goals.
