Job Title: Assistant Manager β Logistics
Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities
β’ Logistics Coordination: Oversee and coordinate logistics operations, including marine transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely delivery of goods and personnel to marine terminals and offshore locations.
β’ Inventory & Risk Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, implement inventory control measures, identify and mitigate risks related to transportation, customs, and logistics disruptions.
β’ Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with UAE and international regulations, including customs and safety requirements. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of shipping, customs, and other relevant documentation.
β’ Team Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
β’ Vendor & Service Provider Management: Establish and maintain relationships with logistics service providers, assist in contract negotiations, and monitor third-party performance.
β’ Process Optimization: Implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, automate the process and improve service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ Experience: 5+ years in logistics or supply chain management, with supervisory experience.
β’ Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of marine logistics, international trade regulations, customs procedures, and inventory management.
β’ Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
