Since its inception in 2010, National Reference Laboratory (NRL) has expanded from a single standalone reference laboratory to a network of 12 state-of-the-art facilities across the United Arab Emirates. NRL provides world-class diagnostic services to the M42 network and partners with more than 250 clients from a wide range of market segments, including private and government hospitals, medical centers and clinics, corporate organizations, and other reference laboratories.
The Coordinator, Transportation and Logistics plays a key role in supporting daily logistics and fleet operations across the organization. This position ensures efficient route planning, vehicle tracking, and coordination of transport activities while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Customer Care to plan routes and allocate service vehicles
- Monitor vehicle movements using transport management systems
- Oversee transport conditions, including temperature monitoring of vans
- Prepare daily activity reports and review previous day operations
- Manage shift schedules and allocate field resources effectively
- Handle contingencies such as breakdowns, absences, and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and documentation standards
- Support supply of PPE, forms, and operational requirements to the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination
- Familiarity with transport management systems and tracking tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to operational challenges
- Good communication and teamwork skills
