Job Objective
Supervise and monitor compliance of customs ports and commercial companies with customs laws, facilitation programs, and exemption regulations. Identify deviations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to ensure effective implementation of customs policies and support trade facilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance of companies and customs centers with customs regulations and the GCC Unified Customs Law.
- Classify companies based on compliance levels to grant facilitation benefits accordingly.
- Coordinate with relevant sections regarding customs duties, origin rules, and permitted exemptions.
- Monitor implementation of compliance programs at the emirate and national levels.
- Oversee compliance of companies operating in free zones and free markets.
- Coordinate with government entities and stakeholders regarding customs facilitation and exemption policies.
- Prepare periodic reports on compliance, exemptions, and facilitation developments and recommend improvements.
- Participate in meetings and initiatives related to trade facilitation, customs compliance, and global compliance programs.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
4–8 years of relevant experience in customs, compliance, or related fields depending on qualification level.
