ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially savvy Inventory Procurement Executive to join our growing Supply Chain team. This role is central to ensuring that Kuwa's product catalogue remains consistently stocked, competitively priced, and aligned with demand trends. You will manage end-to-end procurement of supplements, vitamins, skincare, and beauty products — coordinating closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and the e-commerce operations function. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, consumer-health environment and brings a sharp analytical mindset paired with strong negotiation skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and minimum order quantities to optimise cost and availability.
• Monitor real-time stock levels across all product categories and initiate replenishment orders proactively.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels by balancing carrying costs against service-level targets and demand forecasts.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical counts against system records; investigate and resolve variances.
Supplier Relationship Management
• Build and sustain strong, productive relationships with domestic and international suppliers and distributors.
• Track supplier performance against agreed KPIs (fill rate, on-time delivery, quality) and lead periodic reviews.
• Resolve supply disputes, short shipments, quality non-conformances, and documentation
Coordinate with the quality team to manage product certifications, shelf-life requirements, and recall procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, COAs, MSDS, and supplier documentation for audit readiness.
Cost & Budget Management
• Track procurement spend against budget and identify opportunities for savings through strategic sourcing or consolidation.
Prepare regular reports on purchase orders, landed costs, inventory turnover, and supplier lead times. • Support financial reconciliation by coordinating closely with the Finance team on invoice approvals and GRN matching. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Liaise with the warehouse and fulfilment team to coordinate inbound shipments, receiving schedules, and storage allocation.
• Work with the product and marketing teams to support new product introduction (NPI) timelines.
• Partner with the Valeo health team on shared product lines to align procurement strategies across both brands.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain within FMCG, healthcare, nutraceuticals, or e-commerce.
• Proven track record of supplier negotiation and cost reduction in a product-based business. • Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Shopifyintegrated tools).
• Solid understanding of GCC import regulations and customs procedures for health and wellness products.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for demand modelling, PO tracking, and stock analysis. • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for food supplements and cosmetics in the UAE/GCC is a strong plus.
• Prior experience in a D2C or e-commerce supply chain environment is highly desirable.
