Job Overview:
One of our Key clients are looking to hire a Regional Exports Manager for the West African region who will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, market expansion, and relationship building. This role requires a deep understanding of international trade dynamics, a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities, and the ability to build and nurture strong partnerships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's presence and market share in West Africa, particularly in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Mali, Liberia and the Ivory coast
Identify and engage with potential customers, distributors, and collaborators to drive business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners. Manage yearly budgeting, sales forecasting (Country wise, customer wise, etc.) and achievement of the sales targets assigned.
Lead the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring revenue targets are met.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export orders.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in business development and sales, with a focus on exports to the African market for consumer Electronics Industry
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and market dynamics.
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel to foster client relationships and explore business opportunities.
