Position: Import Clearance Manager
Salary Range: AED 8,000
Location - Dubai
Role Overview:
To lead the current import clearance team of six members, introduce improved visibility and reporting structures, and help ease the operational burden on the Head of Operations, particularly in handling port and shipping line challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and govern all import clearance and export operations for businesses.
- Ensure compliance with Customs, Municipality, Food Control Authorities, Port Authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage clearing agents, freight forwarders, and shipping partners to ensure cost-effective and timely clearances.
- Proactively mitigate risks related to demurrage, penalties, shipment delays, and documentation errors.
