Shipping/Freight Imports Operations
Location: Santry, Dublin 9 or Youghal, Cork
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm
Salary: 35-40K+ Neg DOE + Pension Scheme. Hybrid working option available (after a successful probationary period).

✅Essential Skills & Experience:
3 + years’ experience in Shipping operations.
Must have a good knowledge of customs clearance
Knowledge of imports / Exports
Attention to detail in completing tasks in a proficient and timely manner.
Ability to coordinate and plan schedules.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Word / Power
Job Description:
✅Imports
Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules.
Booking updates and keeping customers informed
Completing of import documentation CHED P.
Monitoring and tracking shipments
Preparing SAD documents (Customs Clearance).
Dealing with Department of Agriculture to clear product into the EU
Organising and communicating with transport for delivery of products to importers.
Maintaining relationships with Customers, Hauliers and Shipping lines.
✅Exports
Updating OPS / Sailing Schedules.
Confirming bookings with customers
Submitting VGM for shipments.
Submitting shipping instructions/ Sending details to shipping lines.
Monitoring and tracking shipments
Preparing SAD document (customs clearance).
Requesting telex release, Seaway Bill of Lading, approving and requesting original Bills of Ladings.
Maintaining relationships with Customers, Hauliers and Shipping lines.
