One of our leading clients have an opening for a Senior Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain.
Supply Chain
- Create purchase orders based on client requirements and as per internal procedures
- Provide a regular rolling forecast with information of forecast variances to assigned CMO’s
- Manage contract manufacturers regarding client and order priorities
- Scheduling and prioritization of purchase orders with CMO, request order confirmations and delivery date updates when required.
- Process shipment documents and purchase invoices.
- Lead and actively participate in contract manufacturers meetings/calls.
- Support CMO S&OP process.
- Keep accurate records for the order related documents, document customer service actions and discussions.
- Maintain SAP for data accuracy, completeness and alignment.
- Effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure priorities and exceptions are clearly understood and issues are resolved.
- Escalating potential issues which would affect costs and/or timelines
Customer Service
- Act as the first point of contact for all customer queries
- Request, update and analyze Clients’ forecast and demand plan.
- Receive, process and manage client’s purchase orders
- Support client documentation requirements such as invoices, packing list, release documentation, customs/shipping documentation.
- Maintain open line of communication with clients regarding order timing, campaign planning and demand management.
- Supporting clients in product collection
- Process all queries efficiently and liaise with internal departments and external partners as required.
Additional responsibilities
- Acts as a reliable Business Partner for internal and external customers.
- Represents the Supply Chain team within the organization and promotes proper interaction between team and other departments.
- Interacts and consults with cross functional teams including NPI, QA, KAM, Finance and RA teams.
- Support process development and process improvement, and support ongoing and new projects together within the Operations department and wider company as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned as the role develops within the supply chain department
Expertise knowledge and professional experience.
- 3rd level degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry required
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar function (Export/Import & Logistics experience is an asset)
- Experienced in working in a KPI and metric driven environment
- Fluent written and spoken English. (Other languages are an asset)
- SAP Business One experience desired
- Lean Six Sigma certification an asset
