Job Summary:
Al Barakah Dates Factory LLC is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage full-cycle export operations. The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in handling Sea Freight, Air Freight, and LCL shipments, and demonstrate strong coordination skills with internal departments, shipping agents, and external regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and update Sea Freight, Air Freight, and LCL rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
- Monitor vessel schedules, ETD/ETA, and communicate updates in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure timely shipment readiness and loading.
- Arrange truck movements by coordinating with transporters in line with loading schedules.
- Liaise with shipping lines and freight forwarders to send shipping instructions and receive BL drafts.
- Obtain customer confirmation for draft shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL).
- Prepare and submit customs documentation including ED submission and VAT EXIT certificates.
- Follow up with customers for payments and send final shipping documents post payment clearance.
- Organize third-party inspections for export shipments through agencies like Bureau Veritas, SGS, and Intertek.
Required Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of UAE Customs ED / BOE procedures, DPC/TLUC payments, ED documentation, and VAT EXIT certificate preparation.
- Hands-on experience in applying for key export shipping documents:
- Certificate of Origin
- Export Health Certificate
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Other statutory export documents
- Familiarity with Export Letters of Credit (L/C) and Export Collection documents is an added advantage.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Academic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
