Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will coordinate transportation, manage inventory levels, and communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations (inbound and outbound shipments).
- Schedule and track deliveries to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and customers to resolve shipping and delivery issues.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, transportation laws, and company policies.
- Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory management activities.
- Assist in selecting transportation methods and negotiating with freight carriers.
- Analyze shipping metrics and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to meet operational goals.
