In this role, you play a critical part in ensuring the safe, compliant, and timely movement of healthcare and life-science shipments around the world. Your work directly supports the delivery of temperature-sensitive, time-critical products that people rely on every day.
Working within the Operational Care Centre, you will collaborate closely with Customer Care, partners, airlines, and shared service centres to deliver high-quality logistics solutions in line with Kuehne+Nagel’s healthcare standards. Your attention to detail, ownership, and commitment to quality will help turn complex supply chains into reliable, life-impacting solutions.
How you create impact
- Coordinate healthcare airfreight shipments in collaboration with Customer Care, partners, suppliers, and gateways
- Execute bookings with airlines and manage flight selections and allocations
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in operational systems (BPA/AirLOG)
- Create and manage MAWB and HAWB documentation in line with IATA and KN standards
- Prepare, validate, and upload shipment documentation in AirLOG
- Manage quotations in QTAir, ensuring correct pricing is in place prior to shipment execution
- Handle import and export operational tasks, including order entry, file preparation, and route planning
- Coordinate closely with warehouses to ensure correct cargo handling, documentation flow, and system statuses
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in airfreight forwarding
- Strong understanding of operational processes and documentation in air logistics
- Basic knowledge of healthcare logistics and GxP / GDP requirements
- Strong customer and quality orientation
- Ability to understand and execute new processes accurately
- Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness
- Ability to work under time pressure in a deadline-driven environment
