About the Client:
A Dubai based international shipping vessel agency servicing Africa and Europe
Job Description:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, Internal teams, port authorities and service vendorsduring port calls to coordinate all aspects of vessel arrivals, berthing, cargo operations, and departures.
- Arrange port services, including pilotage, towage, berthing, bunkering, waste disposal, and provisions.
- Handle shipping documentation (bills of lading, cargo manifests, port clearance, customs filings, crew lists, etc.).
- Prepare Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) and reconcile Final Disbursement Accounts (FDAs) for port calls.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of shipping documentation, including Proforma Disbursement Accounts (PDAs) and/or Final Disbursement Accounts (FDAs), as well as UAE port regulations.
- Familiarity with Port Services including pilotage, towage, berthing, bunkering, waste disposal, and provisions.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
