Role Summary:
The primary role of the Cross Border Associate is to effectively handle the activities related to Import/Export cycle and all the relevant interactions and correspondence with Clients, internal Stakeholders relating to Shipment status, Flight status, Invoicing, Delivery status etc.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure all Import/ Export activities from Booking to Documentation are timely and effectively managed with the Customers via Phone , Email etc
- Preparing all the necessary documents for Importing and Exporting of Shipments
- Receiving, Sorting, Preparing and dispatching the shipments from warehouse to Airport as per the schedule of the flights
- Co-ordinating with Line Manager, Team and Clients in regards to the status of the shipments right from origin to destination
- Replying to all Queries and concerns from merchants and clients
- Make necessary arrangement of the shipments and arranging them for delivery and dispatching as per the requirements of client
- Update daily, weekly and monthly reports to Line Manager
- Strict adherence and compliance with processes & policies and local Regulatory requirements and deadlines
- Support the ad hoc tasks assigned by management
Requirements
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in logistics and supply chain management
- Minimum 2 years of Customs Clearance or Cross Border experience required
- Experience in or exposure to logistics and ecommerce, preferred
