Morgan McKinley is partnering with a well-established organisation within the healthcare sector to recruit a Supply Chain Specialist on a 12 month contract.
Working closely with the Supply Chain team, you will play a key role in coordinating and ensuring continuity of supply, and resolving operational challenges across a complex, multi-partner network. You will collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and distribution partners to maintain high service levels while supporting ongoing improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as a central point of contact for supply chain and logistics queries, working with partners and vendors to resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Coordinate and lead regular demand and supply review meetings, ensuring clear documentation of outcomes and actions
- Manage order lifecycle activities from order receipt through to delivery.
- Monitor shipments and proactively address risks to timelines.
- Support invoicing processes and liaise with finance teams to resolve any discrepancies
- Work closely with logistics providers and customs agents to maintain efficient product movement
- Track supplier and customer performance against agreed service levels and KPIs
- Maintain accurate product and supply chain data, including lifecycle and inventory details
- Contribute to new product introductions and product transfer activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and contractual obligations
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations (healthcare, pharma, or medical devices preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar) and order processing workflows
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders at all levels
