Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cargo Manager to oversee and expand our European freight operations. The ideal candidate will manage logistics planning, carrier relationships, and ensure efficient cargo movement between the UAE and Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cargo operations for European destinations (FCL/LCL shipments)
- Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, and partners across Europe
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Handle documentation and customs coordination
- Develop new business opportunities in European markets
- Resolve operational issues and improve processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics
- Strong knowledge of European shipping routes and regulations
- Experience with NVOCC operations preferred
- Good network with shipping lines and agents
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Based in UAE or willing to relocate
Preferred:
- Existing client base or contacts in Europe
- Multilingual (English required; European languages a plus)
