Job Summary
We are seeking a commercially driven and technically strong Pricing Executive – Breakbulk & OOG Cargo to join our team at Pentagon Freight Services.
This role is focused on handling complex and non-standard cargo, including breakbulk, out-of-gauge (OOG), and heavy lift shipments, primarily supporting oil & gas and project logistics clients across the GCC and international markets.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project cargo pricing, vendor coordination, and developing competitive logistics solutions for oversized and high-value shipments.
Job Description
- Manage RFQs related to breakbulk, OOG, and project cargo shipments
- Prepare competitive quotations for Flat rack / open top containers, Breakbulk and heavy lift cargo ,RoRo and charter vessel solutions
- Source and negotiate rates with Shipowners and carriers ,Chartering brokers, Specialized transport providers
- Evaluate cargo feasibility, including Dimensions, weight, and lifting requirements ,Port and route restrictions
- Coordinate closely with operations and customer service to ensure technical and commercial viability
- Develop tailored logistics solutions for oil & gas and EPC clients
- Support tenders and large-scale project bids
- Maintain and update pricing data in Cargo Wise One (CW1)
- Build and maintain strong vendor and agent networks for project cargo
What we're Looking for:
- 3 –5 years of experience in freight forwarding, with strong exposure to breakbulk / OOG / project cargo
- Proven experience handling non-containerized and oversized shipments
- Good understanding of Vessel chartering (part/full charter), RoRo operations and Heavy lift logistics
- Experience working with oil & gas / EPC clients is highly preferred
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to optimize pricing strategies
- Familiarity with Cargo Wise One (CW1) or similar systems
- Ability to work under pressure on complex and time-sensitive shipments
- Strong communication and coordination skills
