About the Opportunity
Ceto Talent is engaged on a critical search for a Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist to support a high-growth logistics organization based in Dubai.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep operational knowledge, exceptional documentation expertise, and hands-on exposure to complex freight environments, including break bulk, cross-stuffing, and international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations including sea, air, and land transport.
• Handle all documentation and compliance processes including import/export procedures and customs regulations.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Utilize freight forwarding systems to monitor shipments, documentation, and operational performance.
• Supervise or collaborate with operational teams on container cross-stuffing, scheduling, and space management.
• Ensure timely and compliant processing of Switch BL (Bill of Lading) and break bulk cargo documentation.
• Liaise with DP World systems and platforms to manage terminal and port-related requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding operations and documentation.
• Understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and international trade laws.
• Hands-on experience with sea, air, and land freight modes.
• Proficiency in freight management software and CRM tools.
• Proven experience with DP World platforms and port operations.
• Expertise in Switch BL processing and compliance.
• Experience with cross-stuffing and container operations under tight schedules.
• Familiarity with break bulk handling and bill of lading exchange procedures.
