Job Overview
The Pet Relocation Manager is the ultimate responsible for managing our Pet Relocation service.
The manager serves as the face of the company for customers relocating their pets, building strong relationships with individual clients as well as international relocation agencies and partners.
The role manages the end-to-end relocation process with the team, ensuring each service is executed flawlessly, while also identifying opportunities for business growth and service improvement.
A deep understanding of pet relocation procedures (from or to UAE), global relocation networks, and excellent interpersonal and project management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for pet relocation customers, ensuring a seamless, personalized experience from initial inquiry to successful completion.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with global pet relocation agencies and IPATA members to drive referrals and awareness of our services.
- Execute the project plan and logistics for each pet move, using your expertise and judgment to adapt plans as needed.
- Oversee the quality and performance of internal staff and external vendors, ensuring compliance with service standards.
- Listen and respond with empathy to customer concerns to build rapport, trust, and long-term relationships.
- Stay proactive in managing timelines, documentation, and communication with clients, vendors, and teammates.
- Keep up to date with UAE veterinary regulations, airline booking procedures, and customs clearance processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in our internal systems and relocation software.
- Regularly analyze sales funnel and business performance data (e.g., leads, conversion, revenue per service) and recommend initiatives to grow the business.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of relocation processes and customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a pet relocation role, preferably in the UAE.
- Familiarity with IPATA networks and strong relationships with international pet relocation agencies.
- Proven experience managing relocation teams or customer-facing operations.
- Live animal regulations certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE veterinary requirements, airline bookings, paperwork, and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and customer relationship abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and business development
