We are sourcing on behalf of a Dubai-based trading and supply company serving regional clients across various sectors. With an expanding operations team, the company is looking for a proactive and organized Procurement & Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day purchasing and logistics activities.

Role Summary:
The Procurement & Logistics Assistant will provide support in sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, and coordinating shipping and delivery schedules. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior professionals seeking hands-on experience in supply chain and procurement operations. Training and mentorship will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing purchase orders and tracking approvals.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotations and confirm order details.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to arrange shipments and delivery timelines.
- Monitor stock levels and help maintain inventory records.
- Organize shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes.
- Assist with customs clearance paperwork and liaise with freight forwarders.
- Support internal departments with procurement and delivery updates.
- Ensure proper filing of procurement and logistics documents.
- Track deliveries and escalate any delays or issues to the supervisor.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement and logistics departments as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates and entry-level applicants.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the supply chain field.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or academic project experience related to procurement or logistics.
- Familiarity with basic procurement or ERP systems (a plus but not required).
- Arabic language skills are a bonus but not mandatory.
