Overview
Our Client is a leading in the chemical industry looking for
Logistics Executive to manage local transportation execution, coordinate with statutory bodies and third parties, ensure timely deliveries, maintain transport records, and support cross-functional operations while adhering to SOPs and KPIs.This role will be fully responsible for coordinating all local transportation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for local transportation execution
- Liaising with statutory bodies viz. Customs, pertaining to local deliveries. 3. Coordination with third parties for their deliveries.
- Record delays and NCR at all stages of transportation.
- Co-ordinate with Supply Chain to execute the sales as per agreed schedule and business requirements.
- Coordinate with Terminal for loading requirements.
- Maintains channels of effective communication with Sales, Purchase, Transport, Terminal Operations, Finance, etc.
- Adhere to proper working procedures and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions through the analysis and investigation of problems, feedback and complaints. 9. Follow the standard operations procedure (SOP) and monitor own key performance indicator (KPI)
- Make sure transportation is planned according to the agreed schedule & time frame.
- Monthly Transport Reports.
- Transport Invoice checking, coordination with Transporters on invoices being raised within the first 5 days of every month.
- Invoices verification in Esker.
- Work on cross-functional projects.
Must Have
- Academic qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- UG / PG / Certification in Logistics will be an added advantage
- Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in Container and Road Logistics, related documentation.
