Senior Manager – Agro & Food to lead business growth, vendor and margin management, and seamless trade execution from their Dubai office.
Key Responsibilities
- Margin Management
- Ensure every transaction delivers positive returns.
- Optimize trade margins through efficient sourcing, pricing, and negotiation strategies.
- Drive profitability by securing favorable vendor terms and reducing procurement costs.
- Business Development
- Expand wallet share from current customers while actively acquiring new buyers and UAE-based suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to launch new product lines and private labels.
- Achieve consistent monthly growth through customer acquisition and product expansion.
- Receivables Management
- Enforce strict payment terms and ensure timely collections (cash and cheque).
- Resolve client-side discrepancies to maintain healthy cash flow and build financial reliability.
- Order Execution
- Manage end-to-end trade documentation, ensuring accuracy across POs, PIs, credit applications, and KYC forms.
- Ensure 100% compliance with internal SOPs and risk mitigation standards.
- Digital & Tech Tools Compliance
- Effectively utilize internal systems (ERM, RFQ platforms, pricing trackers, worklist management tools).
- Stay updated with new processes and platforms to ensure operational efficiency and speed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5–8 years in agro/food commodity sourcing and sales (rice preferred).
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing skills.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale B2B relationships in international markets.
- Solid understanding of trade documentation, logistics, freight forwarding, and customs compliance.
- Experience in handling Basmati and Non-Basmati rice exports is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in tools/systems for pricing, RFQs, and compliance tracking.
