We are an e-commerce enterprise specializing in the online sale of carpets, cushions, and accessories, we boast a team of over 70 dedicated employees. As we continue to expand our operations and team, we are actively seeking a Logistics specialist to join our team.
About the Role
We're looking for a Logistics Specialist with 3–5 years of solid experience to join our Purchasing Department. The right candidate will be skilled in handling complex shipping operations, managing multiple suppliers, and ensuring smooth product movement across GCC and international markets.
This role also requires coordination of product listings, inventory accuracy, and pricing updates across our online platforms — so attention to detail and comfort with digital tools are key.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Logistics Management
Coordinate and monitor all incoming and outgoing shipments (GCC and international)
• Handle full import/export documentation, compliance, and customs clearance
• Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and couriers to ensure timely deliveries
• Track and resolve any delays or logistics issues proactively
• Manage shipments across different brands and suppliers
• Handle and resolve damage claims for items received with defects or breakage during transit, loading, or from suppliers, including:
o Inspection and documentation of damages
o Filing claims with freight providers
o Coordinating replacements or refunds from vendors
Online Product & Inventory Coordination
• Ensure accurate product availability and pricing is reflected across all online sales platforms
• Maintain up-to-date records of inventory movement and stock levels
• Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and content teams to ensure smooth product onboarding and listing
• Use digital tools to input and verify product information, quantities, and visibility across regions
Time-Sensitive & Cross-Zone Operations
• Manage communication and coordination with global vendors across multiple time zones
• Be responsive and proactive in resolving urgent matters regardless of time differences
• Prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight shipping schedules and cut-offs
Reporting & Improvement
• Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and supplier records
• Prepare periodic reports on shipping performance, stock accuracy, and costs
• Suggest workflow or process improvements where applicable
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of hands-on logistics experience, preferably in e-commerce or retail
• Strong understanding of GCC and international shipping, customs, and regulatory processes
• Comfortable managing logistics from multiple suppliers/brands
• Experience with digital platforms for managing product listings and inventory (any e-commerce or ERP system)
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work across multiple time zones and respond to time-sensitive logistics issues
• Proficient in Excel and logistics/inventory management tools
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred
• Currently residing in Dubai
• Should be fluent in English.
• Ecomm experience is a must
