Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Freight Coordinator with expertise in land freight to oversee the efficient and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, communication skills, corssborder experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate land freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with carriers, shippers, and internal teams to optimize routes, reduce costs, and manage schedules.
Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving issues promptly.
Prepare and process necessary shipping documentation, customs paperwork.
Negotiate rates with suppliers, truckers and maintain strong relationships with service providers.
Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Requirements:
Proven experience in land freight coordination, logistics, or a related field.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, documentation, and freight management systems.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
