Scope
Coordination and execution of Ocean Freight orders in accordance with customers’ requirements, internal processes, procedures and based on PSA BDP Ethics
Responsibilities
- Manage Ocean Import and Ocean Export end-to-end operations.
- Planning, Booking, Transportation and Documentation of Ocean Freight Shipments
- Coordination and follow up of the shipments end-to-end
- Customs Clearance coordination for Ocean Export and Ocean Import shipments
- Invoicing and Costing
- Updating to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI)
- Operational troubleshooting
- Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s
- Adherence of approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates
- Closely coordinate with various stakeholders such as but not limited to PSA BDP external (Network offices, Agents, suppliers and Ports) and internal (Sales, Customer Service, Finance and Customs departments)
- Punctual and flawless shipment handling and documentation
Qualifications / Experience
- +3 years of demonstrated experience of logistics and forwarding operations, regulations and documentation
- A professional degree by a licensed educational institution
- High standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant transport management applications.
