Role Overview:
We are hiring a Purchase / Shipping Manager to oversee procurement and logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency, vendor development, and on-time deliveries. Ideal for candidates with supply chain expertise, preferably in the steel or lead industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement: requisitions, purchase orders, BOM, costing, and MRP.
- Vendor evaluation, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Oversee shipping documents, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers on schedules; review and analyze manufacturing schedules.
- Track shipments, prepare reports, and manage cash advances.
- Consult on duties, taxes, insurance, and explore tax optimization opportunities.
- Support sales activities, maintain client relations, and drive efficiency.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Hindi & English (mandatory).
- Steel/Lead industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and costing.
