Logistics Manager – To Start Immediately (Dubai HQ)
Scarlett Poppies is a fast-growing ready-to-wear and resort wear brand. Founded by Linda Augustsson who is the Creative Director, produced in India with mindful production and crafted with Artisans. The brand is sold globally with our head office in Dubai. We are expanding globally and seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee our worldwide logistics, inventory, and customer operations.
This role is based in Dubai but manages cross-border logistics, inventory flow, and customer care across multiple warehouses. It is ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, problem-solving, and delivering operational excellence in a fast-paced fashion brand.
Role Overview
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for end-to-end logistics operations in Denmark and the US, including warehouse management, inventory flow for both wholesale and e-commerce, and customer care. The role involves liaising with international freight partners, department stores, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Traede or similar ERP/OMS systems and a proven track record in managing international logistics, experience with multi-national Duties, Taxes and Tariffs, experience with exporting production from India and importing into Europe and the US. This person will ensure on-time deliveries to global B2B customers while maintaining clear communication with B2B Sales Team, Marketing, Customer Service and Accounting teams.
The candidate will also manage daily B2C orders and implement new processes and best practices to support the next phase of the brand’s growth, setting and achieving new goals and KPIs for both B2C and B2B operations.
Key responsibilities:
Global Warehouse & Inventory Management
· Oversee day-to-day operations of 3PL warehouses in Denmark and the US.
· Ensure inventory accuracy through regular reconciliations and reporting.
· Coordinate inbound shipments from production (primarily India) to distribution hubs.
· Monitor stock availability for wholesale partners, department stores, and e-commerce customers.
Wholesale & Department Store Logistics
· Manage deliveries to department stores, ensuring compliance with routing guides, seasonal shipping windows, and vendor manuals.
· Coordinate with international freight partners to align production timelines with warehouse intake.
· Liaise with sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and special routing requirements.
E-commerce Fulfillment & Customer Care
· Oversee e-commerce pick/pack/ship processes at Denmark and US warehouses.
· Ensure smooth order tracking, returns handling, and customer communication.
· Manage customer service processes, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
Systems & Reporting
· Manage logistics workflows via Traede (or similar ERP/OMS systems).
· Generate weekly/monthly reports on KPIs: inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, fulfillment rates, customer service SLAs, and logistics costs.
· Work with IT/operations to improve system integrations and automation.
Strategic Distribution & Compliance
· Strategize distribution across Denmark, the US, and other regions in line with Customs & Trade Compliance, Import/Export Regulations, International Tariff & Duty Management, Global Trade Compliance, Customs Tariff Regulations and duty optimization.
· Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and customs duties while minimizing costs.
· Continuously assess regional regulations to adapt shipping routes and warehousing strategies.
· Provide guidance to leadership on potential cost savings, tax exposure, and compliance risks.
Process Optimization
· Build and maintain SOPs across all logistics, inventory, and customer service operations.
· Identify inefficiencies in shipping, warehouse, and order management processes; propose and implement improvements.
· Drive cost savings while maintaining premium service quality.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
· Experience: 5–7 years in logistics/supply chain, preferably in fashion or consumer goods.
· Warehouse Management: Proven experience managing global 3PL warehouses (ideally across Europe and North America).
· Systems: Hands-on experience with Traede; strong knowledge of ERP/OMS/WMS platforms.
· Trade Compliance: Strong understanding of tariffs, customs duties, and income tariff regulations; experience optimizing distribution for tax efficiency.
· Wholesale & Retail Knowledge: Familiarity with department store compliance requirements (carton labeling, routing, EDI).
· E-commerce Operations: Strong track record in managing online order fulfillment, last-mile logistics, and customer care.
· Skills: Excellent multitasking ability — capable of juggling multiple time zones, warehouses, and stakeholders.
· Personal Traits: Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven; comfortable in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
