Customs Clearance Agent
The Customs Clearance Agent will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations within our Customs Clearance department currently consisting of 20 staff. They will proactively assist with the booking and processing of SADs, liaising with customers and suppliers to foster and build relationships, invoicing, and other associated administrative duties.
Responsibilities / Principal Duties
· Processing Import and Export customs entries (both Irish and UK CDS entries)
· Processing ENS Entries
· Processing CHED / TRACES Entries
· Updating internal Master Data files
· Ensure compliance with company procedures
· Ensure ongoing compliance with Revenue and HMRC
· Maintaining and developing strong customer relationships
· General Administration
Working Hours
The Customs Clearance Agent will be required to work 40 hours per week. The Customs Clearance Agent may also be expected to work additional hours from time to time as dictated by the duties of the position.
About you
· An ability to analyse information, identify issues and prioritise them
· Experience with customer relationship management to develop new and existing relations
· Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
· Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative when required
· Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential
