Role OverviewWe are looking for a Junior Logistics Specialist to support our Logistics Lead in managing day-to-day logistics and freight operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and an interest in international shipping and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Logistics Lead in coordinating freight bookings (air, sea, and road).
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Track and update shipment status with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers.
- Help maintain import/export compliance records and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Support coordination of customs clearance and delivery schedules.
- Communicate proactively with vendors and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain the logistics database and assist with weekly reporting on shipment metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline logistics operations.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of Incoterms, international shipping documentation, and freight processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or Chinese is a plus.
