Oversee all aspects of project materials coordination — from procurement support and warehousing to documentation, tracking, and quality assurance — ensuring smooth execution of SNOC’s construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide materials management expertise at assigned warehouse locations and support teams with innovative, efficient execution solutions.
- Ensure contractor staff comply with SNOC Warehouse Policies and Procedures.
- Monitor and enforce the proper use of SNOC Incoterms with EPC contractors in accordance with VAT and FTA regulations.
- Supervise material movement and handling across the TSF and project sites.
- Coordinate with PSCM Inventory to add and manage new project items in Maximo.
- Oversee the storage, preservation, and documentation of all project materials.
- Maintain and regularly update the Material Tracking Register.
- Verify material documentation, packing lists, and conformity to requirements.
- Organize dispatches and ensure smooth material flow to SNOC sites.
- Manage certification of lifting devices and hydraulic tools per SNOC standards.
- Coordinate with certified tool companies and EPC contractors on requisitions, work orders, spare part lists, and interchangeability records (SPIR).
- Interface with logistics and customs clearance teams for timely material delivery and expedite priority materials when required.
- Ensure proper preservation of spare parts, chemicals, catalysts, and OEM items as per guidelines.
- Perform physical inventory verification and audits to ensure Maximo data matches physical stock, resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Provide guidance to EPC contractor teams and manage multiple project scopes simultaneously.
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and project materials coordination.
- Experience with Maximo or similar materials management systems.
- Understanding of VAT/FTA regulations and Incoterms.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing project priorities effectively.
- Qualifications required - University Degree / High School – Any relevant certification will be an added advantage.
- 15-20 year experience in oil & gas industry
