The Executive – Compliance & Quality Operations (Cross-Border) supports the Compliance Manager by executing day-to-day compliance monitoring, audits, and data validation across cross-border logistics operations. The role focuses on ensuring SOP adherence on the ground, early identification of compliance risks, accurate operational data reporting, and supporting continuous quality improvement across hubs and partners.
- Monitor daily operational dashboards to identify DG and prohibited goods exceptions, SLA risks, and customs or documentation delays.
- Track and validate real-time shipment status across WMS and TMS systems.
- Ensure compliance-related data (DG declarations, customs documents, screening results, PODs) is complete, accurate, and updated within defined timelines.
- Highlight deviations, risks, and exceptions through structured daily reports to the Compliance Manager.
- Conduct daily and scheduled floor audits to verify SOP adherence across shipment intake, screening, segregation, labeling, packaging, staging, and handover.
- Perform document-based audits covering HS code accuracy, invoice and manifest consistency, and weight/content declarations.
- Record audit findings, non-conformances, and supporting evidence in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Observe and verify DG and prohibited goods screening processes (system-based and physical, including X-ray/manual checks).
- Confirm correct application of hazard labels, handling instructions, and DG documentation as per IATA and IMDG requirements.
- Maintain logs for detained, rejected, or seized shipments, including photographs and audit evidence.
- Immediately escalate high-risk, repeat, or systemic compliance violations to the Compliance Manager.
- Support incident investigations related to seizures, failed deliveries, SLA breaches, and compliance violations by collecting factual evidence.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) through timeline reconstruction, system screenshots, and audit observations.
- Provide on-the-spot corrective feedback for minor SOP deviations without overriding approved SOP authority.
- Prepare daily compliance summaries, audit status updates, and SLA risk alerts.
- Coordinate with operations teams to clarify data discrepancies while maintaining independence from execution decisions.
- Support internal and regulatory audits by ensuring records are complete, accurate, and readily retrievable.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics operations, compliance monitoring, or quality assurance roles.
- Working knowledge of WMS and TMS platforms.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and Lookups (dashboard exposure preferred; SQL is an advantage).
- High attention to detail with strong documentation accuracy and observation skills.
- Clear, factual communication skills with the ability to escalate issues professionally and objectively.
Who will excel?
- We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.
- You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.
- We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.
- noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.
