We are currently seeking an experienced professional for one of our clients operating in the industrial engineering sector, specializing in industrial refrigeration solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic supply chain team and contribute to the efficiency of procurement, logistics, and inventory operations.

This role combines procurement management, logistics coordination, and supply chain support responsibilities.

Position: Procurement Officer – French Speaker

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for goods and services in a timely manner.
Analyze departmental and project purchasing needs and contribute to the development of effective procurement plans.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers based on project and operational requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure complete and accurate procurement documentation.
Support the sales team with shipping incoterms, LC terms, and supply chain conditions.
Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase request to purchase order issuance and shipment coordination.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics agents, book shipments, and monitor deliveries until final receipt.
Request shipment quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with suppliers and forwarding companies.
Coordinate delivery schedules with the Operations Department.
Support clients with customs clearance and import/export documentation when required.
Issue receipts and delivery orders and manage equipment re-export processes.
Manage and control the warehouse/store, ensuring proper storage and organization of materials.
Maintain and update the vendor database and item master list.
Participate in RFQ processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and support supplier selection and contract awarding.
Track procurement contracts including duration, renewal timelines, and supplier performance.
Negotiate improved pricing, delivery conditions, and product quality with vendors.
Prepare procurement reports and monitor monthly category expenditure.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Accounts, and Supply Chain teams for procurement and logistics activities.
Support ERP system implementation and ensure proper use of procurement tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain roles.
Knowledge of suppliers and markets related to the industrial refrigeration or technical engineering sector is an advantage.
Solid understanding of import/export procedures, logistics coordination, and customs documentation.
Experience handling complex shipments by land, sea, and air.
Familiarity with ERP systems (MS Dynamics 365 preferred).
Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to analyze market data, quotations, and feasibility studies.
Fluent in French.
Good command of English is required for professional communication.
Arabic is an advantage.
French-speaking candidates from North Africa or other French-speaking Arab nationals are particularly encouraged to apply.
