We are looking for a highly motivated Export Sales to join our food distribution company in Dubai. This role is responsible for expanding the company’s international sales by identifying and developing new export markets, managing relationships with overseas clients, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in international sales, food exports, and B2B account management within the FMCG or food industry.
Key Responsibilities:Export Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new international markets and export opportunities for the company’s food products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, importers, and key clients in target markets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, pricing strategies, and competition analysis.
- Achieve export sales targets by negotiating and closing deals with international buyers.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the brand and products.
Account Management & Customer Relations:
- Manage key accounts and ensure long-term partnerships with export clients.
- Provide product recommendations, pricing strategies, and promotional offers to international clients.
- Handle customer inquiries, order processing, and after-sales support efficiently.
- Ensure timely order fulfillment and coordinate with the supply chain team for export logistics.
Export Logistics & Compliance:
- Coordinate with the logistics, warehouse, and procurement teams to ensure smooth shipping and delivery of export orders.
- Ensure all export documentation (invoices, certificates of origin, customs clearance, etc.) is processed correctly.
- Stay updated with international trade regulations, food safety standards, and customs policies in key export markets.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies and shipping companies to ensure compliance with export laws.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, including export performance analysis and forecasting.
- Track and analyze sales trends, customer demand, and market fluctuations to optimize sales strategies.
- Monitor currency exchange rates, pricing models, and payment terms to maximize profitability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in export sales, international trade, or food distribution within the FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, documentation, and logistics.
- Proven track record in developing international markets and managing export sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel internationally when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or French is a plus).
