Job description
Act as a support to Leader Legal in mainly legal matters as per the below responsibilities description, which will impact IMEA consequently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contact person for all legal matters in the day-to-day business of all business areas and
functions in GLP,KSA,NWA & TR.
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on all types of contracts, defending and enforcing claims,
and proactively supporting contract negotiations.
- Recording and maintaining shareholders and BOD minutes, resolutions and relevant
documents for each entity and updating the entities files.
- Keeping track of our operational licenses, coordinating with local PRO for renewals, and
ensuring adherence to government requirements.
- Preparing letters to customs and customers (for example product declaration, sign and logo
usage, confirmation, and NOC letter).
- Drafting or renewing documentation related to corporate housekeeping such as board
resolutions, powers of attorney, etc. Interact with governmental authorities to register such
documents as might be required (registration for example of IP related POA is required).
- Support Supplier & Customer onboarding processes (KYC review and completion).
- Assist after-sales department with - Master´s degree in Law (or equivalent)
- 5 years experience in working as a legal counsel.
- Proficiency in using computer software, such as Google, GoogleDrive, Microsoft Office, Adobe
Acrobat, DocuSign CLM, and legal databases.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as a team memberservice provider contracts, small claims / customer
complaints matter.
- Support supply chain/operations with logistics related matters (new service provider, trade
portals and custom clearance).
- Support marketing with reviewing low value marketing/agency contracts (either print or
social media).
- Maintain a database of research for legal related topics and new legislation.
- Prepare reports for management when required by the business.
- Assist in implementing Contract lifecycle management by keeping it updated with relevant
information, documents and changes regularly.
Qualifications:
- Master´s degree in Law (or equivalent)
- 5 years experience in working as a legal counsel.
- Proficiency in using computer software, such as Google, GoogleDrive, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign CLM, and legal databases.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, profiency in Arabic would be an advantage
- Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
