Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and analytical Regional Logistics Coordinator & Demand Planner to oversee supply chain operations and ensure accurate demand forecasting across the region. This role plays a key part in balancing inventory levels, optimizing logistics, and supporting commercial teams with data-driven planning. The ideal candidate will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, finance, and sales teams to ensure efficient supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and input from sales teams to generate rolling demand forecasts by SKU and market.
- Maintain and update demand planning tools and dashboards to support procurement and inventory planning.
- Coordinate with product and sales teams to align supply planning with new product launches, promotions, and phase-outs.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and lead monthly demand planning reviews.
Logistics & Order Coordination
- Manage and track inbound shipments from global factories to regional warehouses.
- Ensure timely documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with import regulations in different countries.
- Coordinate order processing and fulfillment, working closely with internal logistics teams and third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies quickly and effectively.
Inventory Management
- Monitor regional inventory levels across multiple warehouses and countries.
- Highlight excess, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory and propose corrective actions.
- Support stock reallocation and transfers between markets to meet demand while optimizing working capital.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the central point of contact between the regional office, local teams, and global supply chain teams.
- Support finance with shipping cost analysis, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliations.
- Work with IT or systems teams to ensure ERP/CRM data is accurate and reporting tools are functional.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, backorders, and delivery performance.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply planning, or demand forecasting, preferably in the consumer goods or home appliances industry.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and inventory management.
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and demand planning tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
