Company Overview:
We are a leading company specializing in the import, export, and trading of foodstuffs across the UAE and international markets. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations Officer to manage all government-related transactions and ensure smooth processing of our business operations in compliance with UAE laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise and coordinate with UAE government agencies and departments for various company-related transactions.
- Handle all Dubai Municipality procedures related to food products, including product registration, labeling approvals, and compliance inspections.
- Manage all legal procedures and requirements with the UAE Courts Department.
- Oversee and complete import, export, and customs clearance processes for foodstuffs.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on official documents such as visa applications, work permits, company licenses, and other regulatory requirements.
- Utilize UAE government e-platforms (e.g., DM, Dubai Trade, and other relevant portals) for processing transactions.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of all government-related issues or inquiries, whether in person, by phone, or via email.
- Stay updated with changes in UAE laws, regulations, and procedures, and apply them effectively to company operations.
Requirements:
- Languages: Proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken, written, and reading).
- Experience: Proven experience in dealing with UAE government agencies, especially in the food industry sector.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, including Labor Law, Companies Law, and Residency Law.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with officials and regulatory bodies.
- Proficient in using UAE government online portals and e-services.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex transactions efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing legal and regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role within the food import/export sector.
- Valid UAE driving license.
