Role Overview:
The Logistics & Procurement Specialist will be responsible for handling the sourcing and procurement of all raw materials for our final products—such as bottles, boxes, caps, and other packaging—as well as supervising logistics and ensuring smooth project execution. This role is crucial in coordinating with suppliers, supervising production of samples, and ensuring that clients receive their final products exactly as requested and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase raw materials including bottles, caps, boxes, labels, and other packaging items.
Coordinate with suppliers for custom-made projects (special bottles, exclusive packaging, etc.), ensuring accurate execution of client requirements.
Supervise the full process from design, sample production, client approval and final delivery.
Monitor timelines to ensure clients receive the exact product specifications within agreed deadlines.
Handle logistics operations, including shipping, import/export, customs clearance and delivery planning.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best quality, cost and lead times.
Maintain close communication with production and clients to ensure smooth project flow.
Keep accurate documentation of purchase orders, supplier contracts and shipment details.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain (experience in the perfume, cosmetics or FMCG industry strongly preferred).
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Knowledge of international shipping and customs procedures in UAE.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Fluent in English (Chinese is an advantage).
